MCF Operational Model

Bringing ecological conservation models that generate livelihoods with long-term benefits for everyone.

Farmers and Their Communities

Farmers and their communities has received support for accessibility to markets, free training, assistance, and equipment to carry out sustainable agricultural activities, enhancing productivity, income, and livelihood development. Conditional benefits are determined based on the performance of the production groups established within the Cooperative, assisted by project partners.

Those implementing the project (non-governmental organizations, farmers’ cooperatives, scientists, educational institutions, researchers, university networks, etc.) have access to funding and expert support, allowing them to enhance and implement their initiatives. MCF also supports them in building research capabilities for scientific projects.

Companies and private investors can access projects seeking sustainable supply sources, helping them achieve their Sustainable Production Development Goals. They participate in the fund both as investors and as end consumers for the projects.

Through the support and promotion of local authorities, MCF’s livelihood development activities are closely coordinated and effective, enhancing the role and reputation of local organizations and authorities. Government agencies and women’s unions collaborate with MCF in climate change mitigation programs, rural poverty reduction, and improving food security through locally tailored, sustainable, and long-term ecological conservation livelihood development approaches.
